HELP WANTED - DICKENSON COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES is currently recruiting the following position: EMERGENCY SERVICES CRISIS SPECIALIST. The Emergen-cy Services Crisis Specialist is responsible for clinical assessment of clients during emergent situations in office-based settings, as well as community-based locations. Responsible for providing, coordinating, or managing treatment options for clients in emergent situations across the service continuum from least restrictive to most secure alternatives. Responsible for making independent decisions to ensure client and public safety. Acts as a facilitator for admission into the state mental health hospital system and private mental health facilities. The successful candidate will provide Emergency Services during regular working hours, and after hours and on weekends on a rotating schedule. The successful candidate will provide emergency telephone and/or face to face interviews, conduct pre-screenings as appropriate, attend commitment hearings and ensure adequate follow-up has been completed.
Preferred qualification includes a current license as a LMHP or status as license eligible LMHP(E) (Resident, Supervisee or Resident in Psychology) with one-year clinical experience. Minimum requirement would be a master's degree in Human Services from a CACREP accredited program with two years of documented experience and a willingness to become an LMHP(E) upon hire. Salary range for this position is $44,970-$47,247 commensurate with experience. (Could be higher with license such as LPC, LCSW or LMFT). In addition to salary, you are compensated for nightly, weekend and holiday on call.
