MARGIE MAGDELINE FLEMING

Margie Magdeline Fleming age 74, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Fleming was a lifelong resident of Clintwood and worked many years at the White Star Café. She loved spending time with her family and at the beach. Mrs. Fleming, who loved to be called Nan, was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a friend to many.

Mrs. Fleming was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Ruth Fleming; two brothers, Gerald Sykes and Donald Fleming; two sisters, Minnie Sue Worley and Deborah Ann Bryant.

Survivors include her son, Denver Kelly and Becky of Clintwood; four daughters, Margaret Helmick and Kenneth of Morgantown, WVi, Teresa Kelly and Rodney of Clintwood, Abbie Kelly and Allen Dawson of Asheville, NC, and Mischele Thomas of Clintwood; eleven grandchildren, Jonathan Deloach, Charles Bryant, Ann Reed, Stacie Farmer, Luke Farmer, Candice Owens, Silas Fred Counts, Brandon Gentry, Tabatha Mullins, Dallas Kelly and Rachelle Indseth; eight great-grandchildren; seven brothers, Buddy Fleming, Arnold Fleming and David Fleming all of Clintwood, Jeff Fleming, James Fleming, Earnest Eugene Fleming and Marty Fleming all of North Carolina; two sisters, Jenny Teegarden of North Carolina and Becky Woods of Haysi; special companion, Ricky Deloach of Clintwood and special friend Mitch Bronz.

A graveside service was held Saturday, October 2, at 1 p.m. at Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Main Street, Clintwood. Lester Mullins officiated. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.clintwoodfuneralhome.com.
