NORMAN WILLIS RATLIFFE

CLINTWOOD

Norman Willis Ratliffe age 63 passed away Sat. July 23, 2022. He was the son of the late Dr. Norman C. Ratliffe and Polly Ratliffe. A graduate of Clintwood High School class of 1977 playing football with the Greewave for several years and victories, a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University in 1982 he worked as a Surface coal miner working with mine reclamation for many years. Norman was of the Baptist Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Jennifer Ratliffe.

Survivors included one sister Rebecca Scariano and husband Jack of Knoxville, Tenn.; one niece, Rachael Scariano; two nephews, Jack Scariano III and wife Bekah and Michael Scariano, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Norman W. Ratliffe were conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Glenn Sluss officiating. A graveside service was conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday July 29, 2022at Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Main Street. Pallbearers were family and friends. Anyone wishing to attend graveside services was asked to meet at Funeral Home at 12:30. The family received friends Thursday evening from 5 p.m. till service time
