Hattie Faye Owens age 97, got her angel wings on September 29, 2022 at Heritage Hall in Clintwood. She was a member of Georges Fork Freewill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Winnie Wiggins; sisters, Madgie Edwards, Celesta Ramey; brothers, Kelver Wiggins, Charlie Wiggins, Ray Wiggins; sons, Bobby Owens, Mitchell Owens and Kelly Joe Owens; daughters, Shirley Irene Owens and Betty Darlene Owens.

Survivors include her children, Brenda (Dave) Davis, Dewey Owens, Joyce Garcia, Pauline (Jimmy) Wampler, Gail (Kenny) Mullins, Dennis (Angela) Owens; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family received friends Monday, October 3, 6 p.m., at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. A song service began at 7 p.m. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 4, 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with Glenn Slemp and Lewis Mullins officiating. Burial followed at the AF Deel Cemetery, Rakes Ridge Road, Haysi. Pallbearers were Matthew Mullins, Terry Hall, Mike Hall, Charlie Counts, Billy Brice Counts and Josh Ball.
