JUDITH ANNE DAVENPORT

Judith Anne Davenport (Judy) age 81, passed Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Ballad Health Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee. Judy was a 1959 graduate of Clintwood High School. She worked at Virginia Department of Social Services and later retired from the United States Department of Labor and Industry. Judy enjoyed following Washington football, reading, her grand-children and great-grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Mullins; daughter, Janet Lynn Davenport and brother, Ronald E. Mullins.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Hilliard and husband Stanley of Bristol and Julie Davenport of Johnson City, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jessica Early, Shanna Deel, Johnny Clonce and Liam Clonce; great-grandchildren, Cadence Hylton, Chloe White, Jimmy Early, Judah Deel and Boone Early; special cousin, Sonnie Beverly; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A memorial service was held Saturday, November 12, 2022, 1 p.m. at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lynn Vanover officiating. Online condolences maybe given at www.clintwoodfuneralhome.com.
