Dorothy Mullins, age 96, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Heritage Hall in Clintwood, Virginia. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Mullins; her parents, Russell and Goldie Fleming; and her siblings, Dempsey Fleming, Everette Fleming, Irwin Fleming, Cecil Fleming, Roy Fleming, and infant brother, Earl Hayes Fleming.
Survivors include her son, Bernard Mullins and wife, Jerlene; siblings, Vonda Taylor, Zettie Keener, Linda (Lawrence) Mullins, Logan (Katherine) Fleming, and Willie (Linda) Fleming; two grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Anderson and Brad Mullins; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Anderson and Emily Anderson and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Monday, November 14, 2022 at 6 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with services that followed at 7 p.m. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with David O’Quinn officiating. Burial followed in the Mullins Family Cemetery, Camp Creek Section, Clintwood. Pallbearers were Chris Anderson, Caleb Anderson, Brad Mullins, Letcher Lee, Travis Lee, and B J Swindall. Honorary Pallbearers were Wade Mullins, Lawrence Mullins, Rick Mullins, Dr. Ibrahim, and staff of Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Online condolences may be made online at www.mullinsfuneralhome.net.
