GLENNA DORENA SHORT

Glenna Dorena Short age 72, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Short was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and working jigsaw puzzles.

Mrs. Short was preceded in death by her parents, Carton and Cotella Mullins; sister, Dreama Kelley; three brothers, Gary, David and George Mullins; great-grandchild, Everlee Blair.

Survivors include her son, Dean Keens of Clintwood; two daughters, Dorena Blair and Billy, Alice Bise and James all of Clintwood; four brothers, Baird Mullins of Clintwood, Goble Mullins of Bristol, Fl., Patton Mullins of Clintwood and Olen Mullins of Castlewood; four sisters, Frances Stanley, Mable Bolling and Kyle, Gloria Mullins and Garnett Edwards all of Clintwood; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, November 15, at 2 p.m. at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel, with Don Barnes officiating. Visitation began at Noon. Burial will be a later date in the Patton Mullins Cemetery, Caney Ridge. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be given at www.clintwoodfuneralhome.com.
