ANNETTE BROWNING STALLARD

Annette Browning Stallard age 84, passed away Monday April 24, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. She is the daughter of the late Ross and Effie Cox Browning. A lifelong resident of Clintwood, she was of the Baptist Faith, a loving wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed time with her family, fishing, reading and listening to music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray Stallard; a son, David Stallard; her brothers, Earnest, Ray, Haskel and J.L. Browning, and her sisters, Della Lentz and Helen Fleming.

Survivors include her son, Lowell Stallard, Bean Station, Tn.; grandchildren, Tiffany Hughes and husband Zach of Tampa, Fl., Dusty Brian Stallard and wife Areil, of Clintwood; one great-grandchild, Nettie Stallard; one brother, Emory Browning and wife Connie of Clintwood; two sisters, Christine Sykes, Pound, and Eva Hawkins and husband Don, Clintwood; her K-9 companion of 17 years Duke, along with nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Annette Stallard were at 7 p.m. Thursday April 27, 2023 Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Hubbard and Jack Mullins officiating. The family received friends from 5 p.m. till service time. A graveside service followed at 11 a.m. Friday April 28, 2023 at the Browning Cemetery. Those wishing to attend were asked to meet at Clintwood Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m.
