LOLA GRACE BOGGS
Lola Grace Boggs, 88, passed away at her home on May 2, 2023. Grace was the daughter of the late Walker Fletcher and Alta Stone, and “bonus mother” Zelfie Fletcher. Grace was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend.
In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Boggs; brothers, Jimmy Fletcher, Lacy Fletcher, Roy Fletcher, and C.A. Long; sisters, Juanita Hill, Sharon Fletcher, and Glee Fleming; special sister, Ruby Boggs grandchildren, Tabatha (Bryan) Page and Tracy (Thelma) Fletcher; sons in-law, Phillip Rasnick and Ricky Fletcher.
Grace is survived by four children, Diane Boggs (Duane Johnson), Cherry Rose (Jeff), Pam Fletcher, and Dwayne Boggs (Patricia); nine grandchildren, Scott Rasnick (Lisa), Robin Collier, Bryan Rose, Matthew Rose, Steven (Leslie) Fletcher, Jacob (Stephanie) Fletcher, Rebecca (Cody Mullins) Puckett, Tyler (Brooke) Boggs, and Gavin Boggs; sixteen great-grandchildren, Laken (Roman) Stufflebeem, Devin (Haven) Rasnick, Meaghan (Delonte) Campbell, Dakota (Paige) Collier, Hannah (Isaac) Stanley, Mason Rose, Noah Rose, Bryson Rose, Jaxon Puckett, Madison Rose, Nick Hayden, Matt Hayden, Brianna Mullins, Ryleigh Mullins, and Caiti Mullins; twelve great-great-grandchildren, LilliAnna Dotson, Amira Stufflebeem, Isabella Stufflebeem, Maci Rasnick, Landon Rasnick, Maliyah Campbell, Kason Campbell, Kylen Campbell, June Hayden, Alec Fletcher, Isabella Fletcher, and Elizabeth Fletcher; brothers and sisters, Gilda (Larry) Rose, Roger Fletcher, Raben (Donna) Fletcher, Retha (Sam) Stone, and Reba Bowman; sister in-law, Susie Fletcher; special sister, Pat Murphy; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Rosey Mullins and Sue Britton.
Services were held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 12 noon at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Hill officiating. Burial followed in Temple Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Castlewood.
Pallbearers were grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Rose, Duane Johnson, Cody Mullins, Bryson Rose, Mason Rose, and Noah Rose. Online condolences may be made at www.mullinsfuneralhome.net.
