JUDY MARIE CARBARY

Judy Marie Carbary, 77 of Abingdon, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the home of her daughter, and is now in the arms of Jesus. Judy was born in Gastonia, NC, to her parents, Warren and Geneva (Dockery) Hackler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie Deel; granddaughter, Stephani Carbary, and brother-in-law, Robert Bell.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Ken Carbary of Abingdon; a daughter, Teresa (Randall) Fuller of Clinchco; two sons, Lonnie and Frankie Deel of Birchleaf; stepchildren, Tonya (Bob) Niermans of Abingdon and Brian (Lorrian Kilgore) Carbary of Abingdon; eleven grandchildren, Maranda McCauley, Kristen (Kyle) Ramey, Margo (Bryan) Watson, Shelda Wallace, Carrie (Cory) Hines, Ellen (Nolan) Brundige, Dedra (Adam) Hill, Destany (Hobert) Newberry, Brandon Eastridge, Emily Carbary and Daniel Niermans; seven- teen great-grandchildren, Randy and Kenzie McCauley, Kaleb, Kolten and Kylee Ramey, Kenzie Pennington, Brycen and Missile Watson, Ava Wallace, Eli and Jacob Hines, Alexis and Carson Hill, Lilly and Wyatt Newberry, Jaxon Eastridge and Ali Scott; two sisters, Donna (Bob) Bell, Nancy (Ray) Ingram, and Kathy (Faisal) Sevilla; three brothers, James (Nancy) Hackler, Joseph (Rhea) Hackler, and Phillip (Sharon) Hackler and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m., Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Haysi Funeral Home with Gary Sullivan officiating. The family received friends after 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial followed in the A. F. Deel Cemetery. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
