We are at war, and these folks are the good guys. The enemy is the notion that it’s okay to toss and dump garbage along the roadsides. Last week, county supervisors honored these and other community-minded individuals who volunteer to clean up the trash that ruins our scenic beauty. Those honored included Rosalie Fleming, Benny and Zeldra Kennedy, Ronnie and Karen Rose, Tommy Childress, Alex Sluss, Barry and Ligeia Wallace and Darrell and Lilly Thacker. PROVIDED BY COUNTY
