JOSEPHINE "JOSIE" JOYCE SPANGLER

Josephine “Josie” Joyce Spangler, age 89 of Sandlick Road passed away, Monday May 13, 2024. Born in Woodman, Ky. she a daughter of the late Raymond and Bessie O’quinn Daniels. She was a homemaker and a member of Breeding Primitive Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Kile Spangler; two sons, Danny (Barbara) Spangler of Bee and Sam (Lynne) Spangler of Cedar Bluff; five grandchildren, Andy Spangler, Julie Houchins, Justin (Ashliegh) Spangler, Bradley Spangler and Nathan Spangler; one great-grandchild, Ender Houchins; two sister-in-law’s, Gertrude Daniels and Violet McGlothlin Daniels and special companion, Ellie.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders, Jim Duty and Barrett McGlothlin officiating. Burial will follow in Ketron Memory Gardens, Lebanon.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the funeral home where an evening service will be held at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
