GREGORY YATES

Gregory Yates, age 45 of Amanda Lane passed away, Sunday, May 12, 2024.  Born in Richlands, Va. he was a son of Basil Yates and the late Barbara Deel Yates.  He was of the Old Regular Baptist faith and was last employed as a computer tech with Sharp Industries.

Survivors include his father, Basil Yates, Haysi and one sister, Kimberly (Michael) Fuller, Coeburn.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Eddie Newsome, Danny Yates, Randall Branham, and Ronnie Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in the Parrott Deel Cemetery, Haysi.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the funeral home where an evening service will be held at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
