BARBARA JEAN MULLINS

Barbara Jean Mullins age 76, while surrounded by her loving family, was called to her heavenly home on June 22, 2024. Barbara a devoted daughter, cherished wife and mother, beloved grandmother, aunt and friend, was a lifelong residence of Dickenson County and a member of the McClure Pentecostal Church. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, James and Carrie Hayes; sisters, Jeanette (infant), Ginger Moore, Janice Counts, and Rose Hayes; brothers, Harvey Hayes, Paul Hayes and Sidney Doyt Hayes.

Survivors include her spouse, Alger Mullins, Clintwood; her children, Lisa Mullins and husband Chris from Clintwood and Regina Mabe and husband Randy from Clintwood; her five sisters, Sue Taylor, Peggy Moss, Geraldine Phillips and husband Clinton, Kathy Hayes and Tammy Newberry; her two brothers, Darrell Hayes and spouse, Gletta and James Hayes and wife, Gwen; her forever sister, Gay Mullins; her grandsons, Adam Mullins, Jacob Mullins and fiancé Dylan, Randon Mabe and wife, Christen; her granddaughter, Robyn Sherman and significant other, Brandon; her great-grandchildren, Rosanna Mabe, Emma Mabe and Remington Sherman and several nieces and nephews, her church family, and friends too numerous to count.

Family will receive friends Wednesday June 26, 2024 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel where a preaching service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Greg Edwards officiating. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Family Cemetery, Caney Ridge (Autumn Drive) Clintwood. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
