MILDRED MARIE (EDWARDS) DEEL

Mildred Marie (Edwards) Deel 90, Of Clinchco, passed away peacefully at her home on July 12, 2024. Born March 25, 1934 in Detroit, Mi. to Burns and Havana Hay (Sifers) Edwards. Mildred was the beloved wife of the late James Deel for 46 years. Devoted mother to her son Gary and wife Elizabeth (Hall) and the late Deborah Mullins. Proud grandmother of Bradley Deel, Melissa (Larry) Collins, Christopher (Malena) Mullins, Ritchie Deel, Autumn (Nick) Hurt and her first-born Anthony Mullins, who is greatly missed.

Mildred is survived by her siblings Jimmy Viers, Joyce Looney, Pamela McMillan and numerous nieces, nephews, and “Kuzzins”.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Deel, her parents Burns and Havana Edwards and step-mother, Pauline Edwards; beloved daughter, Deborah Mullins; sisters, Ruby Owens, Jama Arrington, Janet Edwards; her brothers, Elliot “Junior” Viers, Jim Sifers, Bill Sifers, Homer Sifers, Edgar Sifers, Rual Sifers, and grandson, Anthony Wayne Mullins.

Services for Mildred wiere held at Mullins Funeral Home in Clintwood with Roger Fuller and Jim Duty officiating on Sunday July 14 at 7 p.m. with Services on Monday, July 15 at 11 a.m. and at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood at 1 p.m.

Pallbearers were Bradley Deel, Christopher Mullins, Eli Mullins, Ritchie Deel, Larry Collins and Jeffrey Bowen with honorary Pall Bearers Cameron Deel, Nick Hurt, Jerry Robinson, and Ronnie Counts.
