The object of this suit is to enforce the lien of the Complainant, County of Dickenson, Virginia, for delinquent real estate taxes against certain real property located in the County of Dickenson, Virginia, described as follows:

All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being on the waters of Russell prater Creek in Dickenson County, Virginia, known as Tract No. 2, and bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at a stake in Prater Creek above the mount of Frank Owens’ branch; thence N 51 E 161 feet to a stake in the creek; thence S 9 E 237 feet to a stake on the point; S 23 W 118 feet to a stake on the point; thence S 30 W 147 feet to a stake on the point; thence 31 W 108 feet to a stake on the point; thence S 52 W 86 feet to a stake on the point; thence S 46 W 230 feet to a stake near an oak stump and gum tree; thence S 7 30 W 242 feet to a stake in a garden; thence S 18 E 599 feet to a stake on a point; thence S 1 E 434 feet to a stake on a point; S 27 E 190 feet to a stake; E 18 E 307 feet to a stake on a ridge on the back of a field now or formerly owned by A. F. Deel; thence S 68 W 192 feet to a black gum, a corner to A. F. Deel and Frank Ownes line; N 31 15 W 551 feet to a stake on a spur to a white oak on a spur; thence N 72 34 E 268 feet to a black gum in a field; thence N 3 08 W 899 feet to a spotted oak and gum on a knob in the line of lands now formerly owned by Harburn and a corner to a lot now or formerly owned by A. F. Deel; and with the creek; N 84 00 E 500 feet to the beginning, containing 13.4 acres, more or less.

Being the same property conveyed to Jimmy Earl Boyd by Deed of Gift from Johnny F. Boyd, dated April 10, 1980, and recorded among the land records of the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Dickenson County, Virginia on November 23, 1982 in Deed Book 214 at Page 487.

This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions, and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Deed Book 214 at Page 468.

IT APPEARING that an Affidavit has been made and filed stating that due diligence has been used, without effect, to ascertain the identity and location of certain parties to be served, that the last known addresses for the Respondents herein are as follows: and that any officers, heirs, devisees, and successors in title of the Respondent named herein are made parties Respondent to this action individually and/or by the general description of Parties Unknown, it is hereby

ORDERED that the parties herein and all Parties Unknown and/or whose location cannot be ascertained appear on or before November 15, 2024 in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Dickenson, Virginia, and do what may be necessary to protect their interests in this cause.
