NINA BEVERLY

Nina Beverly, age 84, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 at Heritage Hall Health Care Center, where she was a resident for several years. Nina was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a member of Clintwood Baptist Church. Through the years she volunteered at Dickenson County Food Bank and loved being a member of the Women’s mission circle and member of the Eastern Star. Nina was the number one fan of the Clintwood Greenwave and was always there to cheer on her team. She enjoyed helping at the Cumberland Times Newspaper Office.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents, Elva and Edna Rose; husband, Fred Beverly; sisters, Joyce Mullins and June Moore.
Survivors include her nephew, Sam Mullins and wife Keena and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at the Clintwood Funeral Chapel, Friday, October 18th, at 12, Noon, with Reverend Mike Yates officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
