DELORES BLANKENSHIP DUTY

Delores Blankenship Duty, age 91 of Blankenship Lane passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Heritage Hall, Clintwood. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Alta Fuller Blankenship. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Duty; sons, Randall L Hackney and Scotty Hackney; daughter, Karen Stiltner; sister, Roberta Looney and brothers, Sam Blankenship, John Blankenship and Bill Blankenship.
Survivors include sons, Ricky (Juree) Hackney of Clintwood and Ronnie (Amy) Hackney of Haysi; sister, Betty Morefield of Vansant; grandchildren, Anthony (Stacy) Hackney, Shawn Stiltner, Kimberly Stiltner, Earl Hackney, Kayla Hackney (Dakota Hill) and Ronald Hackney and great-grandchildren, Valerie, Allison, Jeffery, Marie and Bill.
Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Haysi Funeral Home with Lonnie Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the Fuller Cemetery, Haysi.
