Sheila Gaye Kelly Vance age 77, passed Thursday, January 9, 2024 at Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport, Tn. Mrs. Vance was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a member of Clintwood Church of Christ. She enjoyed keeping up her house in Clintwood and loved watching over the town. Mrs. Vance was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Vance was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ila Kelly.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Vance; son, David Vance and Charlotte of Clintwood; daughter, Dasheia Vance of Charlottesville; brother, Ronnie Kelly and Anita of Eugene, Or.; sisters, Rita Burton of New Market, Al. and Mary Lou Gilbert of Eastanollee, Ga.; grandchildren, Samantha Hibbitts and Nathan, David Vance, II and Andrew Vance; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Hibbitts, Carter Hibbitts and Kollyns Hibbitts.

Funeral service was conducted Tuesday, January 14th at 1 p.m. at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Castle officiating. Visitation began at 12 Noon. Burial followed at Vance Family Cemetery, Reedy Ridge Road, Clintwood. Pallbearers were Cody Fellows, Tristan Craiger, Randal Phipps, Richman Short, Johnny Childress and Ephran Turner.
