VIRGINIA GAS AND OIL BOARD HEARINGS

JANUARY 21, 2025

     Pursuant to Sections 45.2-1609.C and 45.2-1624.B of the Code of Virginia, the Virginia Gas and Oil Board will hold its scheduled monthly hearing commencing at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.  Those who wish to join the meeting online, please contact the Gas and Oil office at 276-393-5507, prior to the day of the hearing.    1. The Board will review/approve the remote attendance resolution for any board member(s) that will be attending the meeting remotely.

    2. The Board will receive public comments.

      3. The First Bank and Trust Company, Escrow Agent for the Virginia Gas and Oil Board, will appear to address the Board on the Quarterly/End of Year Report.

   4. A petition from Keyrock Energy LLC, for modification of pooling order M-26-1, Docket No. VGOB 24-0220-4280, Paragraph 9.2. Unit: Keyrock M-26-1. Docket Number VGOB 24-0220-4280-01.

     5. A petition from Pocahontas Gas LLC, for (1) the disbursement of escrowed funds heretofore deposited with the Board’s Escrow Agent, attributable to Tracts 1B, 1C, and 5B, as depicted upon the annexed table; (2) authorization to begin paying royalties directly to McGuire Hurt Heirs Trust, Jamie Cantrell, Cathleen Arrington and Penny Falck. Unit W37. Docket Number VGOB 98-0324-0632-07.

     6.  A petition from Pocahontas Gas LLC, for pooling under the Oakwood Coalbed Methane Gas Field II. Unit Y34. Docket Number VGOB 24-1217-4298. Continued from December 2024.

     7.  The Board will receive an update of Board and Division activities from the staff.

     8. The Board will review the December 2024 minutes for approval.
