VIRGINIA GAS AND OIL BOARD HEARINGS

FEBRUARY 18, 2025

     Pursuant to Sections 45.2-1609.C and 45.2-1624.B of the Code of Virginia, the Virginia Gas and Oil Board will hold its scheduled monthly hearing commencing at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.  Location: Virginia Energy 3405 Mountain Empire Road, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219.  If you wish to call-in to the meeting, you may do so by dialing 1-434-230-0065, Conference ID: 847072378#.

      1. The Board will review/approve the remote attendance resolution for any board member(s) that will be attending the meeting remotely.

   2. The Board will receive public comments.

    3. A petition from Keyrock Energy, LLC, for the creation of sealed gob drilling unit and pooling. Unit Deep Mine 26 Blue Jay #1. Docket Number VGOB 25-0218-4302.

    4. A petition from Keyrock Energy, LLC, for a well location exception. Unit Deep Mine 26 Blue Jay #1. Docket Number VGOB 25-0218-4303.

    5. A petition from Keyrock Energy LLC, for modification of pooling order M-26-1, Docket No. VGOB 24-0220-4280, Paragraph 9.2. Unit: Keyrock M-26-1. Docket Number VGOB 240220-4280-01. Continued from January 2025. This item will be continued to the March 18, 2025, board hearing due to renotification of revisions to the petition.

     6. A petition from Pocahontas Gas LLC, for pooling under the Oakwood Coalbed Methane Gas Field II. Unit Y34. Docket Number VGOB 24-1217-4298. Continued from December 2024.

    7. The Board will appoint and vote on a new chairman for the Virginia Gas and Oil Board.

    8. The Board will receive an update of Board and Division activities from the staff.

   9. The Board will review the January 2025 minutes for approval.
