COAL SURFACE MINING/NPDES PERMIT NO. 13022924/0082292

APPLICATION NUMBER:  1011572
      PMO Virginia, LLC of 3302 Pluto Street, Dallas Texas 75212 is applying to the Virginia Mined Land Repurposing Program for a Renewal of PERMIT No. 13022924/0082292 in order to continue the operations at the following location.
    The permit is in Dickenson County, 3 miles North of Darwin on Lick Fork off of Routes 361 (Red Onion Prison Road) and 703. This permit is located on the Pound, Virginia USGS 7.5-minute quadrangle map and consists of approximately 170.96 acres. The exact location of the permit boundaries is shown on the Renewal Map which is attached in section 21.2 of the application. 
     Drainage and wastewater resulting from the permitted operation will be discharged as follows:
    The drainage will be received by Lick Fork and Georges Fork of the Cranes Nest River.  Discharges will be from sediment basins which allow sediment removal by gravity. The location of the 2 (two) existing discharge locations may be view on the Renewal Map which is attached in Section 21.2 of the application.
    Any person with a valid legal interest which might be adversely affected by this proposal, or an officer or head of any federal, state or local government agency or authority, may within 30 days of March 5, 2025 submit written comments or objections concerning this application, and may also request, in writing, that the Mined Land Repurposing Program hold an Informal Conference concerning this application.
