His love for farming was more than just a hobby, it was his passion, a way of life that connected him to the land and the values of hard work, patience and faith.
Above all, Don was a God-fearing man who walked in faith, finding strength in his relationship with the Lord. His unwavering belief guided him through life’s challenges and was a source of inspiration for all who knew him. He was a very active member and deacon at Front Royal Church of the Brethren.
Don was also a dedicated and hardworking Engineer Foreman at Rappawan, Inc. where he spent 20+ years giving his all. He took great pride in his work and was respected by all of his colleagues for his commitment and strong work ethic.

Those who loved Don will continue to carry on his legacy of love, faith and dedication. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the values he instilled and the love he gave will remain in our hearts forever.
A special thank you to the nurses and social workers from Hospice of the Shenandoah for all the loving care they gave.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
His hands may be now at rest, but his love and wisdom will guide us always.
