PHOEBA JANE WOODS

Phoeba Jane Woods, age 71, passed away April 11, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County. She was a member of the Clinchco Freewill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harlis Clay Woods; her parents, Grady and Darlene Phillips; her sister, Genny Davis; her brother, Eddie Charping;, and brother in-laws, Vester Woods and Clovis Coleman.
Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia (Barry) Weaver and Amber (Josh) Owens; sister in-laws, Donna Woods, Fern Coleman, and Ronda Charping; five grandchildren, Jessica Gollehon, Jenna (Hunter) Ward, Noah Lenard Clay Weaver, Hanna (Daniel) Patterson, Corbin Owens, and one great-grandchild, Markus Clay Patterson. Several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
Funeral services were held April 14, 2025 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel where the family received friends from 12-1 p.m., where a funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. with Clergyman Leon Sykes officiating, burial followed in the Holbert Newberry Cemetery Tarpon Section.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
