HELP WANTED - Case Manager for Children’s Services

DICKENSON COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH is currently receiving applications for a Case Manager for Children’s Services.   We are looking for a compassionate and organized individual to provide mental health and substance abuse case management services for children and adolescents. This role focuses on helping youth and their families navigate services, access resources, and achieve stability and improved well-being.
Qualifications
   • Bachelor’s degree 
   • Willingness to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification as soon as possible
   • Experience working with children/adolescents, preferably in behavioral health or substance abuse settings
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders, as well as community resources
   • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
   • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
   • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
   • Prior experience in case management or care coordination
   • Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or similar)
   • Experience working with families involved in multiple systems (schools, courts, child welfare, etc.)
