MARGARET ANN HAWKINS
Margaret Ann Hawkins age 86, passed away Wednesday December 30, 2020 at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Ky.
Born in Dickenson County she was the daughter of the late Armond and Lillie Bowen, a graduate of Haysi High School, she loved time spent with her family as well as her family at the Honey Camp Church where she was a member. Margaret will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years Arlie Hawkins; a son, David Hawkins; a brother, Bill W.C. Bowen and a sister, Louise Potter.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Phillips and husband Kenneth of Clintwood; her son, Christopher Hawkins of Darwin; her grandchildren, Kevin Phillips and wife Sara, Melissa Phillips, all of Clintwood, Jessie Hawkins and wife Heather of Pearisburg, Julie Hawkins of Abingdon and Jocelyn Smith Hawkins of Clintwood; one brother, Homer Bowen and wife Dana of Tarpon and two sisters, Wilhelmena Hay of Clinchco and Gladys Rowley and husband Gary of Jesup, Ia.; great-grandchildren; Lily Fleming, Maggie Phillips, Gracie and John David Hawkins along with nieces, nephews and host of other relative and friends.
Graveside services for Margaret Hawkins were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 02, 2021 at the Hawkins Family Cemetery, Lower Georges Fork Rd, with Tarncy Mullins officiating.
