VAYARD HALL

Vayard Hall, age 98, of Madison Heights, Mi. died peacefully at home on Wednesday June 23, 2021. He was born on July 18, 1922 in Dickenson County, Va.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Lola Ann (Edwards) Hall; his parents, Andy Caudle and Ethel Hall; brother, Arthur Lee Hall and sister, Irene Christmas.

He is survived by his children, Rebecca Jaye, Gerald (Karen) Hall, Paula (Craig) McCracken, Kenneth (Patty) Hall; grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Greene, Ashley (Justin) Jones, Carly (Justin) Jones, Andrew Hall; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Sydnie and Graydn; his sisters, Mabel Fields, Nancy Puckett and Barbara (Warren) Colley and nieces and nephews.

Vayard was a veteran of World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and the taking of the Remagan Bridge. Hopcroft Funeral Home in Madison Heights, Mi. will oversee arrangements. He will be laid to rest at While Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Mi.
