Martin, Mullins awarded Key Club scholarships

The Clintwood Kiwanis Club and Haysi Kiwanis Club are proud to announce the presentation of their joint 2021 Key Club Scholarships to two exceptional graduates of Ridgeview High School, Grayson M. Martin, and Haley Mullins. In addition to requirements specific to their grade point average, class attendance, faculty references and community service hours, each candidate for consideration must have been an active member of the Ridgeview Key Club.

Grayson Macallister Martin will be attending Harvard College for his undergraduate education and plans on majoring in computer science. Grayson is also a co-founder of Medentum Innovations, a local startup focusing on medical technology. He plans to continue working with Medentum and to forge a future career in software engineering.  

Haley Mullins graduated from Ridgeview with a 4.25 GPA. She will be attending Ferrum College in the fall where her plans are to play volleyball and major in nursing. Her goals upon completing college include a career as a nurse anethesist. 

Kiwanis is honored to be a partner in assisting with the continuing education of these two extraordinary Dickenson County students and wish them the best of luck in their career pursuits. These scholarships are just one component in a continual Kiwanis goal of changing the world by serving children, one child and one community at a time.

Both clubs are part of Division 17 within the Capital District of Kiwanis. The Clintwood Kiwanis Club is located at 419 Fox Town Road in Clintwood and the Haysi Kiwanis Club is located at 100 Kiwanis Park Road in Haysi.
