WILLIAM BUDDY FLEMING SR.

William Buddy Fleming Sr, age 70, passed away October 8, 2021 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a longtime resident of Dickenson County and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Ruth Fleming and his siblings, Minnie Sue Worley, Margie Fleming, Debra Bryant, Gerald Sykes, and Donald Fleming.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Fleming; his children, Charlene Mullins and husband, Larry of Clintwood, Michael Fleming of NC, Wendi Fleming of NC, William Fleming and wife, Amber of NC, Arnold Jacob Fleming of Pennington Gap, and Valorie Dingus and husband, Keith of Tazewell County; two sisters, Jenny Teagarden and husband, Chuck of NC and Becky Woods and husband, Henry of Haysi; six brothers, Arnold Fleming of Clintwood, David Fleming of Clintwood, Jeff Fleming of NC, Jamie Fleming of NC, Eugene Fleming of NC and Marty Fleming and wife, Doris of NC; fifteen grandchildren, Samantha Graham, Stefanie Mullins, Joshua Mullins, Jessica Mateyunas, Kellie Joyner, Michael Fleming II, Konnor Rothrock, William C. Fleming, Selene Fleming, Skyler Fleming, Stormy Fleming, Ajay Michael David Fleming, Makenzie Dingus, Kiley Dingus, and Preston Dingus and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services conducted at 1 p.m. Lester Mullins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood. Pallbearers will be Keith Dingus, William C. Fleming, William B. Fleming, Arnold Fleming, Michael Fleming, and William Fleming.
