ALCIEBERRY ‘BERRY’ MULLINS

BLOUNTVILLE, TENN — Alcieberry “Berry” Mullins, age 84, of Blountville, Tenn. (formerly of Pound) went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2021 at The Waters of Bristol Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dussie and Freeling Mullins; his grandparents, Nancy and Willard Mullins; one son, Sherman Freeling Mullins; one stepdaughter, Michaela Maine; brother in-law, Elbert Ray Mullins; and daughter in-law, Carol Mullins.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Mullins; three children, Dean (Cindy) Mullins of Clintwood, Kendale Scott Mullins of Clintwood and Denice (Zack) Olinger of Galax; one stepdaughter, Felecia (Ron) Leonard of Bristol; one sister, Mary Lois Mullins of Clintwood; one brother, Alger Mullins of Clintwood; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his best buddy, Baxter.

The family received friends Monday, November 29, 2021 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life service was conducted at 7 p.m. with Chris Strange officiating. Family and friends were asked to meet at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 where a short prayer service was conducted and the procession left at 2:30 p.m. to go to the Mullins Family Cemetery where the graveside service was conducted at 3 p.m. Burial followed. Pallbearers were Robbie Mullins, Daniel Mullins, Kris Mullins, Justin Mullins, Cody Mullins, Sam Olinger, John Olinger, Derrick Widener, Jake Freeman, and Joe Yates.
